Câștigătorii MTV VMA 2022 și live-urile serii - VIDEO

Gala MTV VMA 2022 a fost presărată de momente inedite, surprize și live-uri incendiare. Membrii trupei Maneskin au fost provocatori, Jack Harlow a făcut un duet neașteptat cu Fergie, iar Eminem și Snoop Dogg au cântat din metaverse, transformându-se în versiunile lor animate. Pe lista câștigătorilor s-au aflat artiștii cu cei mai înfocați fani, pop star-uri precum Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas și Taylor Swift.

MTV încearcă de câțiva ani să redevină brand-ul emblemă care în anii '90 și la începutul anilor 2000 aducea pe scenă cele mai cool acte artistice ale momentului, de la Nirvana, Janet Jackson și Alanis Morissette la Pink, Justin Timberlake și Britney Spears. Scena muzicală s-a schimbat mult de atunci, iar MTV-ul și-a pierdut și el din efervescență, însă ultimele ediții de VMA au început să atragă noi generații, pătrând în audiență și nostalgici. care se bucură de live-urile unor artiști precum Eminem sau Red Hot Chili Peppers. 

Gala MTV VMA 2022, ce a avut loc duminică seară la Prudential Center din Newark, New Jersey, a încercat să mulțumească toate gusturile și generațiile, având o listă de performeri atât din garda veche, cât și din cea nouă. Maneskin și Red Hot Chili Peppers au bifat căsuța rock / rock alternativ, Eminem și Snoop Dogg pe cea de old school rap, BLACKPINK a fost senzația pop, alături de Jack Harlow și Fergie, iar Bad Bunny a adus aroma latino.

La capitolul câștigători, Taylor Swift a plecat cu cel mai râvnit premiu - Videoclipul anului (pentru "All Too Well" (10 Minute Version) (Taylor's Version)) - profitând de ocazie pentru a anunța lansarea unui nou album. Harry Styles a câștigat premiul pentru Albumul Anului ("Harry's House") și Cel mai bun artist pop (cu piesa "As it Was"), în vreme ce Billie Eilish și-a adăugat în palmares un MTV VMA pentru Piesa Anului ("Happier Than Ever"). Bad Bunny a fost declarat Artistul Anului, iar Red Hot Chili Peppers au confirmat că în categoria rock se bucură de cea mai mare popularitate, luând trofeul pentru cel mai bun act rock.

Nu se întâmplă în fiecare zi ca un rapper să fie nominalizat la Songwriters Hall of Fame, însă Eminem a reușit această performanță. În vârstă de 52 de ani, Marshall Bruce Mathers, pe numele său din buletin, a fost deja introdus deja în Rock and Roll Hall of Fame în 2022, așa încât această nouă recunoaștere nu face decât să completeze o lungă listă de titluri onorifice.

Nominalizații la Songwriters Hall of Fame 2025 sunt împărțiți în două categorii: compozitori și compozitori interpreți. Un total de 26 de nominalizați au fost listați ca parte a ambelor categorii. Doar șase vor fi introduși în Hall of Fame 2025, câte trei din fiecare categorie.

Alături de Eminem, pe lista nominalizaților se află și Bryan Adams, Janet Jackson, Boy George. Sheryl Crow și Alanis Morissette. Câștigătorii vor fi dezvăluiți la începutul anului 2025, iar gala va avea loc la New York, în iunie 2025.

Fondată în 1969, Songwriters Hall of Fame a fost lansată de compozitorul Johnny Mercer alături de editorii muzicali Abe Olman și Howie Richmond pentru a-i onora pe cei ale căror realizări în compoziție merită să fie recunoscute ca fiind semnificative și de impact pentru istoria muzicii.

În 2024 au fost introduși cei patru membri fondatori ai trupei REM, precum și Prince, acesta primind astfel recunoașterea Songwriters Hall of Fame post-mortem.

Cel de-al 20-lea album al lui Snoop Dogg este gata și va ajunge la public pe 13 decembrie. Produs de nimeni altul decât Dr. Dre, discul conține 15 piese și include colaborări cu Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Sting, Tom Petty, Method Man, Jelly Roll,  BJ the Chicago Kid, Jhené Aiko, Alus, K.A.A.N., Smitty, Dem Jointz, Cocoa Sarai, Stalone și Fat Money.

În luna august, Dr. Dre declara cu mândrie și entuziasm că noul album al lui Snoop Dogg este cel mai bun material la care a lucrat până acum.

"Acest album se va ridica la un alt nivel de maturitate, liric și compozițional. Simt că este cea mai bună muzică pe care am făcut-o în cariera mea", spune Dr. Dre.

Premiile MTV VMA 2024 au fost decernate; Iată marii câştigători!

Pe 11 septembrie 2024 a avut loc gala premiilor MTV VMA 2024, care premiază cele mai inspirate şi originale videoclipuri ale ultimului an. Gala de miercuri seara i-a avut ca vedete pe Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan şi Sabrina Carpenter. S-a desfăşurat pe UBS Arena în Elmont, New York.

Pe scena de la MTV VMA 2024 au urcat artişti precum LL Cool J, Camila Cabello, Halsey, Anitta, Benson Boone, Shawn Mendes şi Eminem, dar şi Katy Perry. Gazda a fost Meghan Thee Stallion. În ce priveşte lista de câştigători, Taylor Swift a fost cap de afiş, cu un tital de 7 premii obţinute din 12 nominalizări, inclusiv "Cel mai bun artist" şi "Piesa verii".

Swift a devenit şi primul artist care a câştigat primul "Video of the Year" de 5 ori. Eminem, Tyla şi Megan Thee Stallion au fost pe locul doi, cu câte 2 premii fiecare. Eminem a luat trofeul pentru "Cel mai bun videoclip hip-hop", dar şi "Cele mai bune efecte vizuale", pentru "Houdini". Rapperul a deschis de altfel show-ul umplând scena de clone ale sale. I-a urmat Katy Perry cu un medley de hituri, iar Sabrina Carpenter a coborât din ceruri pe un leagăn, a dansat cu un extraterestu şi un astronaut.

Chappell Roan s-a dus în vremrui medievale, cu armură, codiţe şi arbaleta.
