Update: La o zi de la lansarea piesei "Here's to Never Growing Up", Avril Lavigne dezvăluie și un lyric video pentru noul single. Scenariul clipului pornește de la ideea unui album cu amintiri în care fanii artistei dansează și cântă pe versurile melodiei.

Cu versuri închinate tinereții veșnice, Avril Lavigne revine în lumina reflectoarelor cu primul single extras de pe noul album. Piesa se numește "Here's to Never Growing Up" și invită ascultătorul să se întoarcă în timp, în perioada adolescenței lui Avril, când Radiohead dădea tonul petrecerilor și băutura, indiferent de care ar fi fost, își făcea efectul garantat.

Piesa "Here's to Never Growing Up" vine după o pauză de 2 ani de la apariția ultimului album, "Goodbye Lullaby" (2011). Versurile au fost compuse de Avril  Lavigne împreună cu David Hodges, Chad Kroeger și Jacob Kasher, de partea de producție ocupându-se Martin Johnson, cunoscut pentru colaborările cu Taylor Swift, Victoria Justice și Hannah Montana.

Filmările pentru videoclipul acestei piese au început deja, Avril Lavigne confirmând că scenariul va implica prezența foștilor membri de trupă, Evan Taubenfeld și Devin Bronson.  Povestea clipului va fi construită pe atmosfera banchetului de sfârșit de liceu, clasicul moment nelipsit din filmele cu adolescenți.
